Release V.0.3.4: Smarter Physics, Cleaner UI, and True Camera Zoom

Building the best free browser-based motion graphics tool means constantly refining how you interact with procedural animation. In version 0.3.4, we focused heavily on predictability, physics accuracy, and creating a seamless workflow across all our animation templates.

Here is what is new and improved in Animdock.

Unified Controls & "Honest" Parameters

We believe that creating motion graphics online should be intuitive. Previously, adjusting settings like color or scale felt slightly different depending on the template you were using. We have completely unified the control language across the entire platform. Now, when you jump from one procedural motion template to another, the logic remains exactly the same. No more guessing why a slider behaves differently in a new scene.

Furthermore, we recalibrated our physics engine so that parameters act "honestly" and match your visual expectations:

True Camera Zoom

Zooming should feel like looking through a real camera lens, not breaking the simulation. We completely rewrote the zoom behavior. Instead of awkwardly scaling from the top-left and pushing particles into the center, the scene now remains completely stable while you push in. Your procedural animation stays intact, giving you precise framing for your WebM and PNG exports.

Template Fixes & Feature Completions

A motion design tool is only as good as its templates. We squashed bugs and shipped highly requested features so every template delivers on its promise:

A Cleaner, Beginner-Friendly Editor

If you are looking for a free After Effects alternative, you shouldn't have to deal with a steep learning curve. We did a massive cleanup of the UI to ensure new users never get stuck:

Our goal is simple: If you see a control in the Animdock editor, it works perfectly and does exactly what it says. Pick a template, tweak it, and ship it.
