Step 1: Open Type Morph and Replace the Text

Open Type Morph and click through to the editor; the template starts animating immediately with sample text. Replace it with your own phrase — and be ruthless about length. The morph has to stay readable during the transformation, so compact words and short headlines dramatically outperform sentences. Product one-worders ("FAST", "FREE", "LIVE"), short slogans, and two-to-three-word titles are the sweet spot.

Step 2: Design Both Ends of the Morph

A morph reads as intentional only when the viewer understands the starting state and the ending state. Give each word a beat of stillness before and after the scramble — if the text is permanently mid-transformation, it stops reading as words and becomes texture. Pick word pairs with a relationship the morph can dramatize: before/after ("SLOW → FAST"), feature lists ("TWEAK → RENDER → EXPORT"), or brand claims morphing into the brand name.

Step 3: Tune the Transformation

Type Morph's personality lives in a few controls:

Morph intensity — how violently the letters scramble between states. Low intensity reads as elegant and typographic; high intensity reads as glitchy and energetic.
Speed — the tempo of the whole cycle. Slower speeds feel premium and cinematic; faster speeds suit social clips and countdown-style energy.
Scale — how much of the frame the text commands. Title cards want big; lower-third accents want restraint.
Color — keep contrast high between text and background. The scramble phase is the legibility stress test: if the text is readable mid-morph, it is readable everywhere.

Adjust one control at a time and let a full morph cycle play after each change — the animation is continuous, so you always see exactly what the export will contain.

Step 4: Let It Breathe, Then Export

Before exporting, watch two or three full cycles and check the rhythm: stillness, scramble, resolve, stillness. If the transformation feels chaotic rather than deliberate, reduce intensity or speed before touching anything else — restraint is what separates a morph from a glitch.
